These images show a wooden worktop restoration project we completed in Birmingham. The restored wooden worktops were almost unrecognisable from where they started. Wood products and age can often darken and discolour over time. The beautiful and natural wood grain is almost hidden from view. This is a great shame because wood grain gives worktops so much character. It is also a way of making them truly individual.

Our client got in touch with us. She thought she had ruined them but was incredibly relieved to hear that we could help restore them. This video shows the entire process to carefully restore these wood worktops.

Stripping back all the old coatings is incredibly rewarding. You can start to see what the finished product will look like. This project did not fall short of our expectations.
